Snow Angels Needed - We are asking for help from the community
HAMILTON, ON - November 29, 2016 - City of Hamilton still needs over 150 volunteer Snow Angels for the upcoming winter season. Mayor Fred Eisenberger and Hamilton Tiger-Cat, Mathieu Girard, will be holding a media conference this Thursday to ask city residents for help. Members of the media are asked to join us at City Hall at 9 am to help spread the word.

Location: City Hall, 71 Main Street West, 2nd floor outside of Mayor's Office
In-person Snow Angel volunteer sign up
Following the formal portion of the conference, residents are encourage to attend the in-person Snow Angel volunteer sign up event happening. Girard will be signing autographs and posing for pictures with members of the public who sign up to become Snow Angels.

What is the Snow Angels Program?
The Snow Angels program is a free snow removal service for eligible seniors and people with disabilities in the city which runs from November 2016 to March 2017. Snow Angel volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, reliable, and physically able to participate in snow removal.
