Statement by Mayor Fred Eisenberger on the passing of Frank MacIntyre
HAMILTON, ON - It is with sadness we learned of the passing of former Hamilton Wentworth Region councillor and Glanbrook councillor, Frank MacIntyre
Frank served on Regional Council from 1991-1997 and was a member of Glanbrook Council for 12 years beginning in 1985. In addition to his community service career, Frank also spent 38 years at Stelco and was actively involved with the Hamilton Conservation Area, the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Children’s Aid Society. Frank proudly served on the board of Mount Hope Minor Hockey and was a founding member of the Glanbrook Rangers Junior C Hockey Club.
Frank passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Lucy, his two children, Carole Ann and David (Pam) along with his six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He served the community of Glanbrook with dedication and enthusiasm and it was my pleasure to serve alongside him on Regional Council. My sincere condolences to Frank’s family, friends and loved ones on his passing.” - Mayor Fred Eisenberger
The flag at City Hall will be lowered to half-staff today, June 25, 2020.
